The government business of Cherry Valley is debated by standing committees consisting of the six elected officials along with the Village President.
Additionally, three advisory committees make recommendations to the standing committees on planning issues, zoning issues and recreational activities. The advisory committees consist of residents appointed by the President of the Village with the approval of the Board of Trustees.
